Who let the Gods out?

It always beats me how people set boundaries to their perception of what is rational and what is not. Like for example a person who is often otherwise rational can also firmly believe in a God who resides in a building – the one whose powers are concentrated in a 4X4 square and who insists that only a particular caste talk to him. The same person, who on finding some butter missing in the kitchen is too quick to blame the maid is but totally fine with the idea that the butter which he/she offered in the temple is reaching ‘Unnikkannan’. (But the missing butter can’t be that thief of a God though.)

P.S.:- No, this has nothing to do with the Sabarimala issue. This is about faith and that, that has nothing to do with faith; that is pure political evil riding on butt-hurt patriarchy and faux ‘savarna victimhood’.
